Purpose of Job:
IoT division has quite few bilingual PMs, hence increase of the PM head count is urgent.
Job Responsibility:
This IoT Project Manager is responsible for developing and leading IoT projects. The IoT Project Manager works closely with Cognizant
onsite/offshore teams to define the project objectives, scope and project plan that outlines P/L, the tasks, timeline and resources required. This
position will communicate with a client, project teams and stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the project
stays on track and budget. The IoT Project Manager is a member of IoT delivery team and reports to the home manager in Japan IoT Delivery
division.
Job Responsibiltiy:
- Management of end-to-end IoT project
- To understand requirements and create project management plan to be executed
- Should possess skill & knowledge about system/application implementation project for Japanese clients
- Strong experiences in manufacturing and logistics system development with suitable solutions
- Contact multiple internal and external stakeholders and complete the roadmap and project plan with taking technical help from Cognizant offshore
members if necessary
- Responsible for overall project profitability to be healthy
Must have skills and requirements :
- A self-starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required with 7+ years as Project Manager
- 2+ years of IoT project management experience with expertise in launching IoT system from concept to launch
- Good knowledge of Project Management practices and processes
- Should have experience in IoT device development and/or IoT Network and Connectivity and/or IoT Cloud Platform and/or IoT applications
- Strong presentation, document creation and communication skills, including for negotiations with client stakeholders
