The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and winning business in the Renewables, Utilities, and Industrial sectors with new and existing customers/partners. The role is part of the Japan Sales team, reporting to the Country Sales Leader and is responsible for delivering the defined annual orders and margin targets for the defined territory.

Responsible for sales of the full Grid Solutions portfolio of products, services, solutions, and projects in Japan including direct and indirect business. Achieve the orders, margin, down payments, past dues, and other country specific and product line commercial KPI’s defined each year Formulates and executes proposal strategy, sales agreements and drives customer negotiations Works with the commercial / Product Line teams to formulate deal structure, pricing, and proposal development. Maintains SPEAK data quality, opportunity management and adherence to compliance processes for defined opportunities. Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. Required Qualifications This role requires significant sales/ business development experience in building new business, entering new sectors, and achieving sales targets. “Hunter” Sales Profile Team player with excellent communication, highly developed EQ, interpersonal and facilitation skills and demonstrated success in working across functions, teams, and product portfolios. Detailed knowledge of the issues facing the transmission and distribution sectors and the challenges and opportunities coming from the move to increased deployment of renewable energy sources the grid. Established network of industry, customer, and partner contacts within the Renewables sector, Utilities segment and other industrial sectors for grid automation, services, and high voltage solutions. Bachelor of Engineering degree. Master's degree from an accredited university or college preferred Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills in Japanese and English Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

9:00-17:30(実働7.5時間/日) ※配属部署・担当業務により月次清算フレックスタイム制あり(コアタイム10:00~15:00)
